Audemars Piguet 25654 Mother of Pearl

Originally intended to be an integrated steel sports watch, the Royal Oak has since become a flagship for Audemars Piguet. The 1990s was a time of innovation and change for the brand leading to sometimes rather odd creations, but from this time of change was born the reference 25554, very shortly produced before being modified slightly with a different waterproof seal, changing the reference number into 25654. This particular 25654 comes in a yellow gold case with a possibly unique mother of pearl dial. It is a first series 25654 meaning it has the early folding clasps and type 1 font in the sub-counter at 6 o’clock. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives of Audemars Piguet.
